He's selfish and single minded, but he's trying so hard.
"Do you prefer coffee or tea Miss Costas?" A second voice echoes slightly in the large and mostly barren room. Jim's first officer is a tall humanoid with a slightly palid hue to his skin and pointed ears. He is carrying a tray with coffee and a spiced Vulcan tea on it.
"Ah, shit. Sorry Spock. Spock this is Adia Costas, the woman I mentioned. Adia, this is my first officer. Spock's been helping me try to plow though all this work so I can keep looking for Felix."
"I had inferred. It is a pleasure, Miss Costas, though I gather rather inauspicious circumstances that facilitate our meeting."
