But Jim nods too. It's best not to reach out and prod any of those pressure points here or now. She's got them and so does he. Half-heartedly competing over work stress is by comparison much safer waters. Jim's competitive streak is still alive and well.

Less easy for me to invite you over anywhere that isn't moving at warp unless it's the Nexus, but I'm not adverse to meeting you someplace for a change so long as you're prepared to stop me from making a fool of myself in 'Modern' Earth too badly."

Doing alright at the Durant parties doesn't seem like it should count, really.
