While she seemed to be delighted by the fact that she could have a conversation with him, he was equally smitten with her. It was a chance to remind himself just how stunning Leia was when he’d managed to win her over and recapture time that had long passed, if only in his minds eye. He was also lucky to be married to Leia now, but he had to take the chance to delight in this for what it was.

“I come through by myself.” To call it a vacation would make it seem like he came though for a longer period of time than he actually did, but that was kinda the gist. “Not much to tell about Chewie, he still rarely leaves my side. Although, he got fleas a few weeks ago somehow. We went through a ton of special shampoo.”

His life, probably, was a whole lot more mundane than hers. Considering what he had sussed out about the other guy. A one planet existence would have to be pretty boring, right?
