It's for the best that Crowley isn't standing next to the angel as he waxes on about his snake form. Blushing is reserved purely for Aziraphale, if he can help it. Flailing is a pretty universal thing these days, but anything more than that is something the demon would prefer happened only in the company of his partner. Not that he could ever talk sternly to Aziraphale about it; The second the angel gives him one of those looks, Crowley's done for.
He returns near the end of Aziraphale's explanation of Adam and Eve - something he's familiar enough with to clue into without hearing the entire story - and offers the angel a stoneware goblet full of a very delightful mead. He assumes Thor understands their origin more (and that they're not disir, whatever they may be), but it's curious that they should be talking about the creation of humanity.
"I hope you're making me into the villain of The Beginning," he jokes with a grin. "A demon's got to keep up appearances." It's only for himself these days, but if he's relegated to being fallen for the rest of his life he might as well own it.
