No ground? Ever? Suddenly the firm apartment floor feels more like it's made of glass than metal. She closes her eyes and focuses on breathing, on thinking about anything other than the lack of ground and the infinite emptiness surrounding them. Although it works at first, she starts to notice the strangeness of the environment around her, the way the energy moves differently, is different. So when Jim mentions sparring he gets her full attention instantly. Sitting still isn't helpful, he's right, so she gives Tiber a stroke and then gets to her feet.
Looking around, she raises her arms to shift the furniture… then hesitates. This is an advanced technologically jammed apartment. What if by magically whisking away the furniture she damages it somehow? She lowers her arms and after realising she wouldn't be able to tell if it was fixed or automated in some way, she calls out, "Do you have a button or something for this?"
